MOVIE LICENSE

To clarify what is NOT REQUIRED for a film license on your own property, and WHAT IS REQUIRED:

If you're having a movie night for friends and family on your own property,
you DO NOT need to obtain a film license. It's just a get-together of close people.

However, if you want to show a copyrighted movie to the general public,
you are REQUIRED to get a movie license. That includes indoor and outdoor movies.

If you decide to do this, please remember that it is your responsibility to get the license.

To show films to audiences outside commercial theaters, individuals or organizations must have the prior authorization of the owner of the copyright (copyright) or its representatives in the form of a license.
